What we check

Page by page, and the site as a whole

Every page fetched is judged on its own, and then again together — because duplicate titles and dead internal links only show up when you lay them side by side.

  • Titles and meta descriptions: missing, too long, or the same across several pages.
  • Heading structure: a missing H1, several H1s, and levels that get skipped.
  • Images: missing alt text, files that do not load, and pictures heavy enough to hold your page up.
  • Internal and external links that return an error code.
  • Canonical tags, robots directives and structured data.
  • Mobile friendliness and the response time of each page.
  • The site's own SSL certificate.
  • An optional focus keyword, which we check against your title, meta description, H1, URL and copy — including a warning when you use it too often.

European Accessibility Act

Accessibility is part of it now

Since the European Accessibility Act, accessibility has stopped being a good intention for many online shops and become an obligation. Every report therefore also looks at what the markup itself can settle:

  • Form fields with no label — someone using a screen reader hears only "edit field".
  • Links and buttons with no text that can be read out, usually a button holding nothing but an icon.
  • Tables holding data but no header cells.
  • Pages that never say what language they are written in.
  • A tab order that has been overridden by hand.
  • Alt text that is a filename rather than a description.

And to be straight with you: this finds real problems, but it is not a statement that your site is accessible. Things like focus order and keyboard operation can only be established by actually operating the page. We report what we see and stay well clear of legal conclusions.

Choosing depth

Three levels, so you do not pay for air

A quick audit of your most important pages costs considerably less than a full sweep. You choose what you need each time.

What it costs

Per report, no subscription

You buy credits and spend them when you like. There is no monthly commitment attached.

  • €15.001 credit
  • €30.003 credits
  • €50.007 credits

Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

On a subscription you get a few on top every month: Pro 1 a month, Agency 2 a month.

What you get back

A document, not a screen you have to remember

Every finding says what is wrong, on which page, and why it matters. The report is finished the moment it is made and does not change afterwards.

  • Export to PDF and CSV, so you can forward it to whoever has to fix it.
  • Each report is compared with your previous one, so you can see whether things are improving.
  • Findings are ordered by severity, so you can start at the top.
  • A score, so you can see where you stand in one number.

Frequently asked

What people ask us

The questions that come in most often about our SEO audits, and the honest answer.

Do I need a subscription for a report?
No. You buy credits and spend them when you like — a single credit is enough for a quick audit. On Pro or Agency you get a few on top every month.
How long does an audit take?
A quick audit of twenty pages is usually through in a few minutes. An in-depth one of five hundred pages runs towards half an hour. Those are floors rather than averages: how fast it goes also depends on how quickly your server answers.
Which depth should I choose?
Quick for a first impression or a small site, standard for most websites, in-depth when you want everything or run a shop with a lot of product pages. You choose again each time — nothing is locked in.
Can I share the report with my developer?
Yes. Every report exports to PDF and CSV. It is a document: what it says today it still says in six months, even if your language setting changed in between.
Can I see whether things are improving?
Yes. Each new report is compared with your previous one, so you can see what was fixed and what is new. You also get a score, so you can see where you stand in one number.
What is a focus keyword?
A word you want to be found for. Give us one and we check whether it appears in your title, meta description, H1, URL and the copy itself — and we warn you when you use it too often, because that works against you.
Does a good score mean my site is accessible?
No, and that is worth saying out loud. We find what the markup can settle: missing labels, buttons with no name, tables without header cells. Whether somebody can actually operate your site with a keyboard or a screen reader can only be established by doing it. We report observations, not approval.
Do my credits expire?
Purchased credits are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. The credits included with a subscription lapse at the end of the month they were granted for, so they do not stack up.
